We are writing to support the election of Quincy Byrd, incumbent, for the at-large seat for Holland City council.

As a 25-year resident of the City, Quincy has been generous with his time not only on city council; he also has been a coach for his children's sports teams, involved as a volunteer at his church, a board member and Habitat for Humanity home owner, member of City of Holland Human Relations commission, Neighborhood Revitalization committee, and the police community relations committee.

Quincy asks tough questions at meetings, often being the lone "no" vote as groups or pieces of legislation were missing. He has lived experiences including job insecurity, homelessness and institutional racism, which provide a unique understanding and empathy for all residents. He is the voice of inclusion.
